Mr. Chapman is the founder and Executive Director of WeDo GoodWorks. By the age of 22 he had lost both his biological parents and his foster parents. Mr. Chapman has a B.A. degree in Political Science/History from Tufts University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.P.A from Baruch College, and an M.S. Ed (Special Education) from Brooklyn College. He has completed management training programs at Procter & Gamble and Citibank, practiced corporate and antitrust law, been a special education teacher, college professor, and prior executive director of other nonprofits. Mr. Chapman was the developer and first Director of Executive Transition and Leadership Services at the Support Center for Nonprofit Management in New York where he trained, placed, and managed 80 interim executive directors and 20 consultants in transitional management. He has taught, tutored, and mentored secondary and college students as well as adults in Math, History, English, Science, and construction in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Minnesota.
In the little spare time that he has, you can find Troy refereeing soccer for NYC Footy. Troy is an avid reader, furniture refinisher and likes completing handyman projects.
